A passenger has accused Frontier Airlines of injuring him mid-flight when a boiling cup of water spilled on his lap.

TMZ reports that Sean Miller has filed a lawsuit against the airlines. In September, the Pennsylvania man was returning home from South Carolina when scalding water allegedly spilled onto his lap, causing severe burns and 'disfiguring' scars on his private parts.

Miller alleges that the water was handed to him in a “highly negligent fashion,” and that the cup was overfilled, which caused it to spill. He claims that as a result, he's experienced several problems, like “discoloration” on his penis and reduced “sensation” in the area.

He was rushed to the hospital when the plane landed and treated for 3rd-degree burns. He says that because of the plane’s “tightly-situated” seating arrangement, he couldn’t leave his seat after the incident. His attorney said that this resulted in “agonizing pain” for Miller.

Court documents reveal that Miller claims he is now suffering from PTSD, sexual dysfunction, and nerve damage, among other injuries. He’s seeking over $150,000 in damages.
