A shooting in Philadelphia left three people dead and 10 injured.

Footage from a Ring camera shows a gunfight breaking out on a densely populated block, as people on the home’s porch duck for cover and people scatter on the street, hiding behind cars. Those who brandish weapons can be seen in full view as they return fire.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred on Monday morning, just before 1 a.m. Police say over 100 rounds were fired, and the three who were fatally shot were ages 19, 23, and 24. Overall, the victims range in age from 15 to 24 years old.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel issued a statement, saying that the shooters seemed to be firing aimlessly, and within the vicinity of children. Authorities are using the Ring camera footage in their investigation.

"This is coward stuff. You see the size of this block—individuals just shooting randomly into houses, into cars," Bethel said, per Action News. "I mean, this is coward, wannabe thug stuff."

He added that it’s "hard to understand" why people participate in such acts. "But as we do in all of our investigations, we will get to the root cause and we will bring those individuals to justice," Bethel said.

Police were responding to another call in the area when they heard shots fired. They have since released image stills from the Ring video in an attempt to locate three suspects. At least one person was detained, but it’s unclear how they were involved in the shooting.

Action News reports that a total of 46 people were shot over the weekend in Philadelphia, from Friday to Monday.
