Paul Ryan Confirms He'll Be Voting for Donald Trump

Paul Ryan says he'll be voting for Donald Trump in November because he'll "help turn the House GOP's agenda into laws."

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has officially announced he will be voting for Donald Trump for president in November. In a Thursday column for the Gazette Xtra​, Ryan gave a somewhat flaccid but clear endorsement of the GOP's presumptive presidential nominee.

Naming several of these "bold" policy ideas, including a new tax code that would repeal Obamacare, Ryan addressed the fact that he and The Donald have never exactly been the best of buds, and that he had concerns about how Trump would handle GOP legislation as president. Ryan wrote:

But after a few meaningful talks about policy, Ryan concluded that Trump will do right by the Republicans in the House if elected:

Ryan is now "confident" that Trump will make all of his far-right dreams "a reality." Shortly after announcing his decision, Ryan's move received praise from Trump himself on Twitter. According to Trump, he and Ryan will both be "working very hard" to make America "great" again:
