Among all the charges, counter-charges, and interruptions at Monday's presidential debate, the breakout star turned out to be not a person, but a bodily function—a sniff.

Donald Trump's loud and errant sniffles occurred throughout the entire debate from the very beginning. They were noticed early on, and quickly inspired their own Twitter account.

Many viewers engaged in speculation about what may have caused The Donald to be doing all that sniffing.

Even a former Presidential candidate weighed in.
