Footage has surfaced on social media showing Migos rapper Offset being detained by police.

The tense exchange, which you can watch below, reportedly took place at Los Angeles' The Grove shopping center on Wednesday.

According to TMZ, Offset was detained after police become aware of a report that someone had a firearm in the shopping center's parking garage. Law enforcement eventually told TMZ that two guns were recovered, and a total of four people were detained.

Offset was reportedly released just after midnight, after two of the individuals who were detained alongside him admitted that the guns in question belonged to them. One of these individuals was arrested for carrying a concealed firearm, while the other was arrested for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Upon his release, Offset told TMZ that the whole incident was just a misunderstanding.

Earlier this month, a clip of Quavo throwing punches at Offset's Paris Fashion Week after-party event at Palais Maillot surfaced.
