XXXTentacion's Abuse Accuser Receives More Than $6,000 in GoFundMe Donations
In the day since XXXTentacion's death, his ex-girlfriend Geneva Ayala has raised more than $6,000 in donations on the GoFundMe page she created to help cover the cost of treatment for injuries she allegedly received from the rapper.
In October 2016, Geneva Ayala created a GoFundMe page to help cover the cost of her medical expenses and treatment for injuries she allegedly received from ex-boyfriend XXXTentacion. Following the news of the 20-year-old rapper’s death, the page has raised more than $6,000 in donations in the past day, as Jezebel reports.

Pitchfork was the first publication to release details of the alleged abuse. In a legal deposition, Ayala accused XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy, of beating her regularly, along with a number of extremely disturbing, specific instances of violence. At the time of his death, Onfroy had been charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness-tampering. He pled not guilty to these charges.
A graphic description of the alleged abuse, via Pitchfork, follows:
A recent article from the Miami New Times reported that Ayala's original GoFundMe page was removed from the site when fans of X complained the abuse had been misrepresented or fabricated. After the Times article came out, her page was restored and raised $12,000 in one day, per the Times own report.
The Times article reiterated some of the abuse Ayala accused X of in her deposition:
Ayala has surpassed her original GoFundMe goal by $7,000, totaling $32,185 as of this post.
