Justin Bieber’s new album Swag is topping the R&B charts.

The pop singer’s surprise album (released on July 11) debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top R&B Albums chart for the week of July 26. According to Billboard, the feat marks his second-chart topper in that category since Changes in 2020.

Swag earned 163,000 equivalent album units in its first week, driven mostly by streaming, which accounted for 155,000 units and 198.8 million streams, making it his highest streaming week to date.

Traditional album sales for Swag contributed just over 6,000 units, with the rest coming from track-equivalent units.

Sag also debuted at No. 2 on both the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and the Billboard 200 charts, trailing behind JACKBOYS 2 by Travis Scott and his JACKBOYS collective.

The album’s track “Yukon” also debuted at No. 1 on the Hot R&B Songs chart, earning Bieber his sixth No. 1 on that list.

In total, Swag places eight tracks on the Hot R&B Songs this week, including “Way It Is” featuring Gunna, “Devotion” with Dijon, “Sweet Spot” with Sexyy Red, and the album’s title song with Cash Cobain and Eddie Benjamin.

Swag marks Bieber’s first full-length effort since 2021’s Justice, which featured singles like “Holy,” “Lonely,” and “Peaches.” The album is also his first release since parting ways from his longtime manager Scooter Braun in 2023 and since welcoming son Jack Blues Bieber with wife Hailey Bieber in August 2024.
