Rapper EBK Jaaybo Arrested in Arkansas on Felony Charges
The California rapper was arrested days after he was announced as a supporting act for YoungBoy Never Broke Again's upcoming tour.
EBK Jaaybo finds himself behind bars again after being arrested in Arkansas.
The 21-year-old California rapper, born Jaymani Gorman, was arrested by Arkansas State Police on Sunday (May 18) and is facing multiple felony charges, including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of criminal use of a prohibited weapon, and one count of theft by receiving, per KATV.
Jaaybo is currently being held in Pope County, and details regarding his bail and court proceedings haven’t been released.
His arrest comes just two months after completing a year-long prison sentence for illegal gun possession.
The Stockton-born rapper gained notoriety for his 2024 hit “Boogieman,” which charted on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles list and gained over 116 million streams on Spotify.
Jaaybo also made Complex’s list of 25 Rappers To Watch in 2025.
Days before his arrest, Jaaybo had been announced as a supporting act on NBA YoungBoy’s MASA Tour, his first-ever headlining tour following a five-year hiatus away from the stage amid legal trouble.
The tour is scheduled to begin on September 2, 2025, with stops in major U.S. cities before wrapping up on October 19 in New Orleans.
Jaaybo’s album, Don’t Trust Me, is also scheduled to be released on Friday (May 23).
