Drake on "What Did I Miss?" Debuting at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100: 'Suppresor on the No. 1'

Drake's latest single, which he dropped earlier this month, explores themes of questioning former friends and trying to understand what led to their betrayal.

On Monday, Drake reacted to his surprise-drop song "What Did I Miss?" debuting at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Suppressor on the 1 spot I'm taking that soon don't worry one song or another. Rule changes and all," he wrote on Instagram alongside a bunch of serious and laughing emojis.

The song premiered during a YouTube stream on July 4, titled "ICEMAN EPISODE 1." The clip shows Drake playing a worker on his lunch break, watching old footage of himself in Toronto. "What Did I Miss?" was released to DSPs on July 5.

Drake's comments came after his arch nemesis, Pusha T, gave a rather harsh critique of Drizzy's latest single. He did so during a recent interview with Complex News, where Pusha was asked if he "liked" the new Drake song, "What Did I Miss?"

"Which one is that?" Pusha replied. After being told the title, Pusha offered an incredibly blunt review: "No... Just not for me."

Drake recently reflected on his three-night Wireless Festival takeover, calling it “the best three nights of my performance career.” Though at a loss for words on Instagram, he told fans he needs “some time to process” the star-studded experience.

During night two of Wireless Festival, a “Fuck Kendrick” chant developed after Drake challenged the crowd to “name another artist” who could clash with him onstage. In response to the chant, he raised a toast, saying, “I’ll drink to that.”

Drizzy also praised the UK rap scene and stirred debate by telling the crowd, “No disrespect to America, but nobody in the world can out-rap London rappers,” while introducing Skepta.

Drake recently dropped his surprise single “What Did I Miss,” teasing a new project titled Iceman as “coming soon.” If released, it would be his first solo album since 2023’s For All the Dogs, following his recent collab project with PARTYNEXTDOOR. Details remain limited for now but here's everything we know so far.
