Drake alluded to his ongoing beef with Kendrick Lamar and teased the future of the Canadian rapper's career in the caption of an Instagram post he shared on Monday.

In the post, Drizzy, who was involved in a rap beef with Kendrick for a good portion of 2024, said he "grew up non-confrontational" and "treated this game as a sport." He also hinted at an uncertain future, stating that the "next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy."

"U know I grew up non confrontational and always treated this game as a sport where my pen won gold, but my these days the podium has been hard for all of us to ignore," he wrote. "I understand that this next chapter may leave you feeling uneasy, but I hope you see my honesty as clarity not charity that answers some questions especially about the unanswered texts you've been sending me."

This comes amid a series of diss tracks and public exchanges between the two artists in 2024.

Since Kendrick’s Grammy-winning “Not Like Us” was shared last July, it dominated the charts, and last month, he performed the Drake-dissing hit at the Super Bowl halftime show.

The impact of the beef was felt worldwide and even echoed in pop culture. As expected, the 2024-defining feud made its way to the Oscars, where host Conan O’Brien alluded to it midway through the ceremony.
