Premiere: Watch YL's New Video for His Latest Single "Weezy"

NYC's YL releases "Weezy," the first single and video from his upcoming project 'Soda Club.' The tape is slated to drop next month on Nov. 5.

What feels like a quick smoke break, NYC’s YL drops off a new video for “Weezy.” The song serves as the first single off YL’s upcoming project titled Soda Club, which is a reference to the infamous Pelle Pelle leathers of the same name.

“Weezy” is produced by the extremely versatile Tony Seltzer and directed by Jabari Canada. According to YL, the Soda Club project is a departure from the sound most fans know from him and introduces a more drum-heavy approach. On the production side of things, the rapper tapped in with underground heavy hitters Subjxct 5, Jonboyice, Revenxnt, and Lord Unknown.
