Trent Reznor Gets Oscar Nod for "The Social Network" Score

Yeah, The Social Network had great writing, acting, and direction, but its score played an equally important role. From the opening frames to closing shots, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross kept us engaged with their score, and the Academy agrees. The duo scored an Oscar nomination for Best Original Score this morning. Don't be surprised if this is one of the multiple statuettes we expect the Facebook movie to win on February 27.
