Cordae and Anderson .Paak Recall the Summers of Their Youth in the "Summer Drop" Video
The smooth track is produced by J. Cole.
Cordae and Anderson .Paak has shared the chilled-out video for their new collaboration "Summer Drop," which was produced by J. Cole.
Directed by Samba, the "Summer Drop" video perfectly translates the feeling of the last weeks of summer. With a grainy aesthetic, the colorful clip sees the two rappers riding around with the window down. It also features the inclusion of childhood photos from both of them, reflecting the lyrical content of their verses where they recall the summers of their youth.
"Summer Drop" is produced by J. Cole, who previously produced for the two artists last year when Cordae and .Paak got together for "Two Tens."
The latest from Cordae follows the release of "Saturday Mornings" last month, another laidback track featuring a great guest verse from Lil Wayne. He has yet to announce a new album, but earlier this year he indicated that it'll be titled The Crossroads and will be arriving soon.
