DaBaby and Davido Link Up for New Song and Video “Showing Off Her Body”

DaBaby has linked up with Davido for their new track “Showing Off Her Body,” which they’ve shared alongside a video shot in the latter’s home country of Nigeria.

The track sees the controversial Charlotte rapper adopt a dancehall-style flow, ditching his usual direct pop-trap approach in favor of a style that gels smoothly with Davido’s vocalizing.

Shot in Lagos, the visual shows the two having a party in the streets surrounded by crowds and dancing. It’s also intercut with shots of the pair wooing their respective romantic interests.

DaBaby has continued to pump out new music despite a series of controversies, including his now infamous comments at Rolling Loud Miami in 2021. More recently, however, he’s been embroiled in public drama with his ex-girlfriend DaniLeigh, who is also the mother of one of his children. In comments shared last month, he responded to the singer after she described their relationship as “toxic” and often “very triggering.” DaBaby has since accused her of stalking the mother of one of his other children, and suggested she lied about the reason they split.
