Franky Venegas of Island Boys Arrested on Gun and Drug Charges
Island Boys' Franky Venegas was previously arrested for domestic battery and reckless driving charges.
Franky Venegas, one half of the hip-hop duo Island Boys, has been arrested on drug and gun charges, TMZ reports.
Franky was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 23, and taken into Collier County Jail in Naples, Florida. He is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of an altered firearm. The circumstances of Franky's arrest is unclear and his brother, the other half of the group, has yet to comment on the arrest.
The viral star, otherwise known as Kodiyakredd, has had brushes with the law in the past. In 2023, for instance, he was arrested for domestic battery following an alleged encounter with his then-girlfriend during an argument. Officers observed bruises on the woman's "chin, legs, and arms," when they responded to the incident.
Last year, he ran into more legal trouble in his home state. He was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on multiple driving-related offenses, including operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, possessing false identification, and reckless driving. His brother, Alex Venegas aka Flyysoulja, supported his brother with a post on TikTok.
