GloRilla has given a shout-out to U.S. representative Ayanna Pressley after she quoted her song "TGIF" to help raise awareness about the ongoing threat of climate change.

As seen in the clip below, the Democratic lawmaker quoted "TGIF" during the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability hearing on Wednesday, July 10. Congresswoman Pressley delivered a speech about how rising temperatures, especially in cities, are impacting low-income communities. "You know the kids say, 'It's 7 p.m. Friday, 95 degrees,'" she said in a clear nod to the opening line of "TGIF." "Climate change isn't an abstract problem for people of a faraway future to solve. No one knows that better than our youth."

In a tweet, GloRilla shared some love for Pressley's speech. "Ayyyyeeeeee," she wrote alongside the clip.

Last week, GloRilla stopped by FOX 46 in North Carolina to offer a helping hand to the Friday weather report. "It’s 7 PM Friday, it’s 95 degrees," she said during her appearance, in which she joined meteorologist Nick Kosir, who rapped a more SFW version of GloRilla's track. "I ain’t got no sunburn ‘cus I got sunscreen on me," Kosir rapped. "I’ma show my forecast for the rest of the week/ How are we gonna cool off? In this kind of heat/ Turn on all the fans/ Turn on the A/C."
