Lil Wayne Announces Second Hot Boys Reunion Show
The show will go down in Houston, Texas next month.
The Hot Boys reunion Lil Wayne brought to WeezyAna Fest was such a success that the group has announced a second reunion show.
As announced by Lil Wayne on social media, the group will play a show at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on December 21. BG, Juvenile, Turk, and Wayne will be joined by Birdman and Mannie Fresh and Big Tymers, making the show a triumphant celebration of the music that made Cash Money Records a hip-hop powerhouse.
Tickets for the holiday show, which is presented by Lil WeezyAna Fest, will go on sale with presale on Friday, November 15 here.
The Hot Boys reunion at WeezyAna Fest earlier this month was the first time the four-piece had been on stage together in over 15 years. The festival also featured solo performances from each member, who all came together to perform tracks such as "Neighborhood Superstar" and "I Need a Hot Girl."
In a recent interview with B High ATL, Turk said that reunion, for as smooth as it went, was actually a bit tense at first. "We sung the songs and it was tense. It was tense. I gotta give y’all the real rundown and not on no stuck up shit, but it was just a ‘man we ain’t do this shit in a long time’ type tense," he shared. "But by the time it got to ‘Back That Azz Up,’ it was the nostalgia and we felt what the fans felt! And it was just – we back.
