The 36-year-old mother of two shared a video on Instagram from her low-key New Year's Eve celebrations, showing her surrounded by friends as they counted down the seconds to 2025.
As they all celebrated the annual ball drop in Times Square, New York City, Rihanna told her fans, "Y'all, I didn't drink all year! I didn't drink all year." In the caption for the clip, she added, "New year, new me." It's unclear if she's joking that she didn't drink in 2025, since the new year just arrived, or if she means 2024. Either way, congratulations for sobriety are in order, even if it's short-lived.
The Fenty Beauty founder welcomed her first child with ASAP Rocky in March 2022, and their second child in August the following year. So she's already had a brush with sobriety, but it appears that she's stuck with it, and seemingly plans to keep it up in the new year, too.
Despite Rihanna's commitment to avoiding alcohol, she's still been enjoying the good things in life. Just recently, she shared a video of her and a friend partaking in some fancy caviar, which they opted to dip chicken nuggets in.
