Trippie Redd Reportedly Arrested on Warrant at Miami International Airport

Trippie Redd was arrested on Friday (July 4) while attempting to board a flight departing from Miami International Airport.

As reported by NBC Miami, the 26-year-old rapper was arrested when he went to board a flight departing for France. According to the arrest report, he was arrested on an active warrant from Miami-Dade County. While the details of the warrant are currently unclear, it was filed by authorities in 2023. He was taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

Trippie Redd has not yet commented on the arrest.

The news comes just weeks after he welcomed his first child, Miyoco, with Coi Leray. The pair have split following cheating allegations shortly after announcing that they were expecting their first child earlier this year. "Nothing [worse] than being cheated on,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. "Wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy."

Redd has faced legal issues in the past. In 2018, he was arrested in Georgia for allegedly assaulting rapper FDM Grady. Weeks later, he was arrested for allegedly pistol-whipping an unidentified woman. He and his brother got pulled over in Florida in 2023 for driving with tinted windows. During the incident, he only received a citation, but his brother was hit with a drug possession charge and arrested.
