Ye's Former Chief of Staff Alleges He's Addicted to Nitrous Oxide, Celebrity Dentist Denies Claims (UPDATE)
The dentist is denying the accusations and alleges Yiannopolous is lying for attention.
UPDATED 8/8, 1:08 p.m. ET: A spokesperson for Thomas Connelly has shared the full version of a previously excerpted statement with Complex.
"Dr. Thomas P. Connelly categorically denies all the false allegations made by Milo Yiannopoulos in his affidavit," the rep said. "Mr. Yiannopoulos, who has admitted in the same affidavit to being motivated by personal grievances, has presented a narrative that is not only factually incorrect but also intentionally misleading. Dr. Connelly has never engaged in any reckless, unethical, or illegal conduct, nor has he ever endangered the health and safety of any of his patients."
The spokesperson continued, saying: "Mr. Yiannopoulos, a self-admitted provocateur with a history of attention-seeking behavior, has fabricated a narrative that is both factually incorrect and maliciously intended to damage Dr. Connelly’s professional reputation. His allegations are completely unfounded and devoid of any credible evidence. As a licensed dental professional, Dr. Connelly adheres strictly to all ethical and legal standards, and any allegations to the contrary are baseless. Dr. Connelly remains committed to providing the highest standard of care to all his patients and will continue to do so despite these unfounded attacks on his character and professional conduct."

Milo Yiannopoulous, ex-chief of staff for the artist formerly known as Kanye West, has accused a celebrity dentist of exploiting the troubled artist and getting him addicted to nitrous oxide.
In a series of posts shared on X, formerly Twitter, Yiannopoulos, a former controversial far-right political influencer, claimed that he witnessed Ye get exploited by dentist Thomas Connelly while he worked with the multi-hyphenate in 2022 through to early 2024. Yiannopolous, who no longer works for Ye, made some serious allegations against Connelly and shared a sworn affidavit discussing his claims.
"There is reason Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, is no longer capable of successfully releasing music or clothing," wrote Yiannopoulos, who claimed in 2021 that he's an "ex-gay" and would fundraise for gay conversion therapy going forward. "In fact, there are several reasons. But the most serious and the most recent is his dentist, Thomas Connelly. Connelly got Ye hooked on nitrous—laughing gas. It is my belief that Connelly sought to diminish Ye’s mental faculties so that Connelly and his business associates could extract millions of dollars from him."
Yiannopoulos said that he "uncovered the fraud and intervened" earlier this year, which resulted in Ye dissolving their working relationship. Ye allegedly proposed coming up with a fake reason for his resignation, and he settled on the announcement of his plans to launch an adult entertainment division at Yeezy.
"Thomas Connelly is a dangerous predator who targets African-American celebrities—into whose mouth he puts fake diamonds, as I suspect he did to [Lil Yachty]," Yiannopoulos continued. "He must be stopped. I filed a complaint with the California Dental Board last week to that end."
Alongside a link to his sworn affidavit regarding Thomas Connelly, he also shared an audio version that contains some "exhibits" that he says are evidence of his claims.
"It was my job to protect Ye from bad guys, since he is all heart, and, to be quite honest, just doesn’t and can’t see them coming," he added in another tweet. "I was paid well for doing it. I don’t deserve any awards, especially since I should have seen the dentist coming and stopped him sooner as I did with so many others. Having said that, there’s no doubt in my mind that had I not intervened, Ye would have been Michael Jacksoned in May of this year. I accept that my friendship with Ye is probably over forever now. But my conscience is clearer now."
He said that the sworn affidavit was also given to "the FBI and the DA" and was made under penalty of perjury.
Ye has not responded to the claims. Connelly, however, responded to the claims in a statement made to TMZ. The dentist denies the accusations and insists he abides by all ethical and legal standards. As of now, he has not announced that he will take legal action.
