YG faced a lawsuit for assault, battery, and theft at a Las Vegas hotel and casino last year, but nowThe Blast reports the case has been dropped. Benjamin Naderi, the man who made the allegations against YG to begin with, has dropped the lawsuit and is no longer seeking compensation.
As reported last year, Naderi alleged that he asked YG for a photo at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in May 2018. The fan said his request was rejected, at which point YG walked away and told his crew to "get him." He claimed that YG's crew punched him in the face and held him down, with the rapper later returning to steal his diamond-laced pendant and gold chain. He was seeking $250,000 in damages and also took aim at the hotel itself for the alleged incident.
YG is still scheduled for a jury trial on Mar. 9, 2020 for felony robbery, grand larceny, and larceny from a person, however, as Pitchfork reports.
In other YG news, the rapper confirmed the rumors that him and Kehlani were an item earlier this month. The two were spotted together at Kith's New York Fashion Week show near the start of the month, with them holding hands and even commenting on the relationship itself. "Safe to say it's official," a cameraman asked, to which Kehlani responded, "Mmmhmmmm."
