Ginuwine Jokes He’ll Be ‘Windmillin’’ After Getting Mocked for Falling at Lovers & Friends Festival
Ginuwine took to Instagram to respond to people mocking the R&B legend for falling during his performance at the Lovers & Friends Festival this weekend.
Ginuwine took the stage at the Lovers & Friends Festival this weekend, as the R&B legend performed a medley of classics such as “Pony,” “So Anxious,” and “In Those Jeans.”
While performing “In Those Jeans,” Ginuwine attempted to jump from the main stage to a smaller platform and took a tumble. The moment has since circulated social media, as many people are ripping the singer for being washed.
As always, Ginuwine has taken the high road, hopping on Instagram to issue a response in which he poked fun at himself.
“We had so much fun aside from my little spill,” Ginuwine said in a short IG video, which also featured the singer Donnie McClurkin’s gospel song “We Fall Down.”
“Man down! But then man got back up,” he joked.
Ginuwine captioned the video by joking that fans shouldn’t miss his performance at next year’s Lovers & Friends Festival, saying he’s going to be “windmillin.’”
“I am constantly laughing with the funnies but we right back at it,” he wrote. “ATL stand up. Next year I’m windmillin’ so don’t mis it lolololol. I got it prepared already but yeah I’m good about to do what I do one mo gin.”
