Kanye West stirred the pot on social media tonight after announcing that the name of his album had changed from SWISH to WAVES. For many in the hip-hop community, the Wave movement is closely associated with the legacy of rapper Max B, and some people wanted to make sure West's new album would properly honor his legacy. West sought to put those concerns to rest with his latest tweets, paying respect to Max B, Andre Harrel, Puff Daddy, 50 Cent, Q-Tip, and Jay Z.
