Here's Kendrick Lamar's Collector's Edition of 'Damn' Featuring Reversed Tracklist
Kendrick previously confirmed the album was intended to be played from front-to-back and back-to-front.
It’s here. Kendrick Lamar just released the collector’s edition of his Grammy-nominated album Damn.
Reports of the project began surfacing earlier this week, after a Redditor posted images of the cover art and the tracklist, which was the same as the original but in reverse order.
Months after the album dropped, K-Dot confirmed the theory that Damn was also intended to be played from back-to-front, giving the listener an entirely different vibe.
“I don’t think the story necessarily changes, I think the feel changes,” he told MTV News. “The initial vibe listening from the top all the way to the bottom is...this aggression and this attitude. You know, 'DNA,' and exposing who I really am. You listen from the back end, and it’s almost the duality and the contrast of the intricate Kendrick Lamar. Both of these pieces are who I am.”
The Damn deluxe edition is available now on iTunes and Apple Music. It's also on Spotify.
