Meek Mill just scored a major legal victory.

Months after the rapper was sentenced to two to four years behind bars, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court ordered a lower court to grant Meek release on bail. 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin shared the news via Instagram on Tuesday.

According to Fox 29, the order states Meek's bail conditions “are to be similar or identical to those that governed Petitioner's probation prior to Aug. 1, 2017.” The rapper’s legal team is also required to resolve a post-conviction relief act petition within the next two months.

Jordan Siev, one of Meek's attorney's, called into Angie Martinez's radio show to talk about his release.

The Dreamchasers artist shared the following statement:

Fans and friends of the rapper celebrated the news on social media:

T.I. also spoke to Meek over the phone, while Jay Z shared his satisfaction on the decision.

Roc Nation also released a statement:

The ruling, which was criticized as both “heavy-handed” and “unjust,” reignited a new debate about racial discrimination within the criminal justice system. Meek's legal team has spent the last six months fighting for the rapper's freedom, going as far as accusing Judge Brinkley of having a personal vendetta against the Philly star.

Meek's attorney, Joe Tacopina, filed multiple petitions for Meek's release within the past six months; however, every request was denied by Brinkley, despite the fact that Meek's arresting officer was named in the District Attorney's list of allegedly corrupt cops. The officer, Reginald Graham, was also the sole witness in Meek's 2008 trial.

Tacopina released the following statement to Fox 29:
