50 Cent Calls Speculation He Was Shot ‘Fake News'
An Instagram account claimed that the rapper was in critical condition following a shooting in Hollywood.
50 Cent has responded to reports that he was recently shot.
“Don’t worry I’m gonna make it, because this is fake news!” he captioned a screenshot on Instagram, which read that he was in critical condition and had been hospitalized following a shooting in Hollywood.
The original video appears to be from the Instagram account @mediatripping. It’s unclear where the account got the information; there’s no article on TMZ’s website reporting a shooting involving 50.
The alleged shooting arrives amid Fif’s feuds with Floyd Mayweather, Jim Jones, Joe Budden, Big Meech, and Lil Meech.
Last week, 50 took another jab at Jones following his recent comments about Cam’ron. 50 hopped on IG to share a Rocky III AI spoof, which replaced the original 1982 film’s central characters with Jones as Clubber Lang, Killa Cam as Rocky Balboa, and Mayweather as Mickey Goldmill.
“The way he been ducking is a disgrace,” Clubber says. “If he ain’t no coward, why don’t he fight me then?”
“I can’t listen anymore,” Rocky responds. “Hey, anytime you want...”
“I don’t care what you’re ranked! You don’t get no shot and I mean that!” Mickey interjects, before Rocky insists he wants to go head-to-head with Clubber. “Well, you got him. But you’ll fight him without me… It’s finished. Yes, I’m finished. I don’t want no more of this. I don’t want no more of it!”
Last month, Jones appeared on The Breakfast Club, where he called Cam a “bird head” and said he’ll fight him for $10 million.
“He don’t want no smoke,” Jones said. “I’ll box his head off. Where’s the ring at? $10 million right now."
Jones’ threats follow Cam’ron claiming on his show, It Is What It Is that Jones tricks people into going to jail. “Stop tricking n***as out of their freedom, bro,” Cam said.
