Ace Hood Releases New EP 'M.I.N.D.' f/ Killer Mike

Ace Hood has shared his latest EP M.I.N.D. (Memories Inside Never Die) via Hood Nation and Empire.

The project includes previously released singles “Glory,” “Free,” and “Little Light,” as well as a sole feature from Killer Mike on the cut “Greatness.” Prior to sharing the project, Ace Hood dropped the video for “Free.”

“The title Memories Inside Never Die represents the moments and experiences that have shaped and molded how I view the world, both good and bad,” Ace Hood said in a press release. “If we don’t heal our self-limiting thoughts and beliefs, those memories will never die. Memories that stuck with me the most are the ones where I learned profound lessons or came to a realization about myself–growing up as a dark skin kid, being an average student, my father not being around, all of that brought me great pain. But eventually, I started to challenge my thoughts and beliefs, and developed a better understanding of myself.”

Last year, Ace hosted Complex x Spotify podcast Infamous: The Story of YNW Melly, which delved into the story behind the young Florida rapper over the course of eight episodes.
