Chance the Rapper’s second studio album, Star Line, is here.

The 17-track album boasts features from A-listers and Chicago natives, including Young Thug, Vic Mensa, Joey Badass, BJ the Chicago Kid, Jazmine Sullivan, and Jamila Woods, among others. Chance’s recently released single, “Tree,” featuring Lil Wayne and Smino, also appears on the offering.

Chano worked with artist and longtime collaborator, Brandon Breaux, to craft the album’s artwork. Breaux previously created the covers for Chance’s iconic mixtapes, 10 Day, Acid Rap, and Coloring Book.

Earlier this week, Chance announced his upcoming And We Back Tour, which is slated to begin on Sept. 26 and make stops in Houston, New York, Chicago, and Las Vegas, before wrapping on Oct. 20 in Los Angeles.

The tour name appears to be a nod to Chance’s Ye-featuring song “All We Got,” from his 2016 tape, Coloring Book.

Star Line follows Chance's first studio album, The Big Day, which arrived on July 26, 2019. Prior to that, he released Coloring Book in 2016, Acid Rap in 2013, and 10 Day in 2012.

In a new conversation with New Rory & Mal, Chance commented on his relationship with Ye, telling the co-hosts that they haven’t spoken “in a long time,” but explained that he still has “reverence” for the Donda rapper.

“My first album that I consciously wanted to have was The College Dropout. So I have a different reverence for him, or just understanding of how my life went and how it influenced things I do," Chance added.

“I think most rappers got a rapper that was they first album, and probably from they city. So imagine if yours was Kanye West, and imagine if you worked with them, and imagine all that shit.”

In 2016, Chance appeared on Ye’s album, The Life of Pablo, earning writing credits on a several songs and featuring on the project’s opening track, “Ultralight Beam.”
