Drake gets it from his daddy.

Over the weekend, Drizzy and his father, Dennis Graham, paid a visit to the Toronto jazz club Reservoir Lounge and hopped on the mic during musician Shane Philips’ set.

Philips posted a clip of the father-son duo taking their turns singing on the mic, backed by Philips’ band, Band of People. They appeared to sing blues electric guitarist, T-Bone Walker’s 1947 song, “Stormy Monday.”

“They call it stormy Monday / But Tuesday's just as bad,” Drake sings. Philips then turns the camera around on himself and says, “These guys are on my mic but it’s fine.”

When the camera pans back to Drake, he hands the mic to his dad, who sings, “Wednesday's worse / And Thursday's also bad.”

Philips and the 6 God also took a photo together. “It’s not often that i let people up on my stage but #drake showed up to my show with his dad and guess what… his dad could sing so i got them both up. If my dad was alive I would have wanted the same,” Philips captioned the photo.

Philips is a singer/songwriter from Fergus, Ontario, who previously appeared on The Voice. However, he “was eventually cast off from the show because producers officially said he was ‘too soulful,’” his website bio states. “Philips deemed it a major compliment and used it as a guide in his path forward.”
