Joe Jonas Says He's 'Not Trying to Come for Anyone' on New Album Following Sophie Turner Divorce
Jonas filed for divorce from his ex last September.
Joe Jonas is drama-free.
The singer claimed to Billboard that he isn’t "trying to put stuff on blast" in his forthcoming solo album, Music for People Who Believe in Love.
"I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album,” he said. “I have a beautiful life that I’m grateful for.” He explained that making the album was both “scary” and “freeing,” and that, despite recent bumps in the road, he is “a happy person.”

Within the last year, Jonas divorced his now-ex-wife Sophie Turner, with whom he shares daughters, Willa and Delphine, describing them to Billboard as “two beautiful kids.”
He told the outlet that, over the last few years, he was "going through a lot of life change, finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be." He added, "And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet."
Jonas and Turner were married for four years when he filed for divorce last September. The former couple now share custody of their children. In that time, Sophie has found herself a new beau. In December, she was spotted kissing her boyfriend, Peregrine Pearson in London. Pearson is a British aristocrat who runs a property investment and development company.
