Piers Morgan and the artist formerly know as Kanye West weren’t seeing eye-to-eye during their latest conversation.

TMZ reports that Ye and Sneako streamed live with Morgan from a mansion in Mallorca, Spain, when the artist formerly known as Kanye West abruptly walked away from the interview.

Kanye became visibly upset when Piers Morgan tried to clarify how many followers the rapper currently has on Twitter, a number Morgan mistakenly guessed. Ye then asked why the media treats him unfairly, leading to a back-and-forth with Morgan about respect — or the lack thereof.

"You've got 32 million [X] followers, So, you're one of the most followed people...", Morgan said before Ye interrupted him.

"You're not gonna take inches off my dick, bro," Ye said after Morgan guessed incorrectly the amount of twitter followers he has.

“Okay, now you’re not taking accountability or responsibility,” Ye said in a clip from the stream. “We’ll rewind. … No, no, sir. This is what you get for now. We can circle back when you can count.”

The Donda rapper was seated next to Sneako before getting up from his chair and storming off.

Sneako then chimed in, saying, “That’s it for Ye. But it was nice to meet you, Piers. I think he’s going back to work—there’s several things he’s working on.”

Sneako continued, as the video cut off, saying, “I was not aware he was going to leave like this, but it seems like he got upset about the number of Twitter followers…”

The streamer later revealed what he meant in a video response to Morgan, explaining that Morgan offended Ye by improperly addressing him, perhaps calling him Kanye West instead of Ye, which became his legal name in 2021. It seems Morgan doubled down on offending Ye by misrepresenting his follower count on X.

“If you want to do a proper interview, then show basic respect. You know exactly what his name is, you know exactly how many followers Ye has, and you intentionally didn’t do that," Sneako said in the clip from his stream. "For a guy your age who’s supposed to be a master of journalism, you showed an embarrassing display here, and it’s not gonna reflect well upon you."

Morgan quote-tweeted Sneako’s response, writing, “To be honest, I’d never heard of this little twerp before yesterday - but @PiersUncensored viewers can make their own mind up about him when we air the whole thing in full later.”

In a second tweet, Morgan shared a screenshot of Ye during the interview and tweeted, “So, I interviewed Kanye West again today. As I expected, given what I’ve said about him recently, it didn’t last long or go well. This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby. Drops on ⁦@PiersUncensored⁩ later…”

Morgan shared the same screenshot of Ye on Instagram, with a similar caption, though a bit more pointed: “This was him right before he stomped off like a big baby before I could ask him why he’s become a vile, Hitler-loving, Nazi-slathering, anti-Semitic prick.”

Morgan previously interviewed Ye in 2022, where he said he doesn't regret his then-recent string of antisemitic comments—specifically, that he planned to go “DEFCON 3 on Jewish people.”

“No. Absolutely not,” Ye replied with a smile when asked if he was "sorry" about the remarks, prompting Morgan to suggest he should be.

“That is as racist as anything you say you’ve been through, and any pain you’ve experienced, it’s the same thing,” Morgan added, to which Ye responded, “Yeah, obviously, that’s why I said it.” Morgan asked, “So you said it knowing it’s racist?”

“Yes,” Ye said. “I fought fire with fire. I’m not here to get hosed down, it’s a different type of freedom fighter.”
