L.A. Wildfire Benefit Concert Will Feature Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, and More
The concert is slated for Jan. 30 and will stream across multiple apps.
Many artists are banding together for a Los Angeles wildfire relief concert.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Billie Eilish and Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Gracie Abrams, Green Day, Gwen Stefani, Jelly Roll, Joni Mitchell, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Baby, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Stephen Stills, Stevie Nicks, and Tate McRae will all perform at FireAid. Dave Matthews and John Mayer are also slated to play together for the first time.
FireAid will assist LA communities affected by the fires, which devastated neighborhoods like Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Altadena. Proceeds will go to a nonprofit, which was made for the event and will support rebuilding infrastructure, helping displaced families, and advancing fire prevention technologies and strategies for the future.
THR reports that on Thursday afternoon, the Eaton Fire was 55 percent contained, and the Palisades Fire, 22 percent. In the days since the wildfires began on Jan. 7, over 12,000 homes, buildings, and structures have been destroyed and at least 25 people have been killed.
The concert was first set to happen on Jan. 30 at the Intuit Dome; now, The Forum will also be involved with the backing of Live Nation, AEG, and the Azoff Company.
Fans can watch the show at select AMC Theatres, Apple Music and the Apple TV App, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudom, Paramount+, Prime Video and the Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM, Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, and YouTube.
Tickets will go on sale on Jan. 22.
