Nicki Minaj Shades Megan Thee Stallion Over Car Sex Lawsuit: 'Vengeance Is the Lord’s Law’
Last year, a man filed a lawsuit against Meg, claiming she had sex with another woman in front of him.
Nicki Minaj is delighted to see that Megan Thee Stallion and Roc Nation won’t be able to dismiss a harassment lawsuit filed by a man who says he previously worked as Meg’s cameraman.
Minaj took to Instagram on Tuesday (July 9) to post a screenshot of a headline from X that said a judge has denied Meg and Roc Nation’s attempts to get the suit tossed.
“What was the name of that law again???????? Karma’s Law? Touch not my anointed law? Vengeance is the Lord’s law?” Minaj wrote, referencing Meg’s “Megan’s Law” line from her Nicki diss track, “Hiss” from last year.
“We give God the glory & he’s only just begun. Have a blessed day if you can. lol the blogs posting lies, thank you. More money for me. We’re working. Trust.”
Nicki also responded to the same tweet from @AkademiksTV, writing, “Oh no. What was that law again? Bwajahaahahhaajajajajajajajajajsssss,” alongside a GIF of her laughing.
Emilio Garcia filed his lawsuit last year. In the complaint, Garcia said he first started working with the Houston rapper in July 2018 as her “personal cameraman.” His employment allegedly came to an end in June 2023.
Minaj’s tirade didn’t end there. “Being a gay man doesn’t give any woman the right to sexually grind on you or have sex in front of you,” Minaj wrote, nodding to Garcia’s sexual orientation. “I remember seeing someone grinding on their hair stylist & he seemed so uncomfortable.”
According to the complaint, Garcia alleged that in Ibiza in June 2022, he, Megan, and “three other women” were in an SUV, "after a night out.” At one point during the ride, Megan is accused of starting to have sex with one of the women "right beside" the plaintiff, who alleges he was unable to exit the vehicle. Furthermore, the complaint alleges that this left Garcia "embarrassed, mortified, and offended."
Garcia claimed that Megan told him not to discuss that evening, and that, at some point, she called him a “fat bitch.” She also allegedly “drunkenly” FaceTimed Garcia after learning that he might leave his position due to inadequate pay. While the two apparently hashed it out, Garcia says Roc Nation "unexpectedly reached out" the evening before a previously scheduled assignment to let him know "his services would no longer be required."
Garcia also alleges a hostile work environment, failure to prevent and remedy harassment, and various labor code violations. In addition to Megan Thee Stallion, he’s also suing Roc Nation, Hot Girl Touring, and Megan Thee Stallion Entertainment Inc.
