NLE Choppa’s wish came true.

The 21-year-old is set to perform at Atlanta’s Black Pride Weekend on Sunday night. He announced the news on Friday in an Instagram video.

“If you’re a person that had something to say about me these last six months regarding if I’m gay or if I’m a f-bomb or if I’m this or if I’m that, well, this might make you a little bit more madder, or make you more infatuated, when trying to come to a conclusion of who I am,” he said.

NLE added that he knows who he is "so deeply" and is "so appreciative of who I am, I will be doing my justice by coming to Atlanta for Black Pride and showing love to the LGBTQ community for being one of the best audiences that’s been streaming ‘Slut Me Out 2.'”

He continued: “So the same way that they’re pouring love into me is the same way that I’m giving back love. And I’ma let y’all judge me again and say what y’all want to say about me, ’cause y’all are going to say what y’all are going to say regardless.”

“Slut Me Out 2” found major success with the LGBTQIA+ community and NLE has continually expressed his gratitude. In June, he revealed that he hoped to play at Pride: “I want to perform ‘Slut Me Out 2’ at a pride event in return of the love yall showed me!!” he tweeted.

However, because he’s been so thankful, people have speculated about his sexuality. When an X user responded to the above tweet, calling NLE “zesty,” he responded, “I’m secure, I know who I am.”
