Pooh Shiesty Shares Prison Update: ‘S/O to All the Ones Who Counted Me Down and Not Out’

The 25-year-old was sentenced to 63 months in prison after pleading guilty to a firearm conspiracy charge.

Pooh Shiesty shared an update for fans from behind bars.

On Thursday (Aug. 14), the “Back in Blood” rapper posted a series of photos and a lengthy note. Shiesty has been in prison since 2022 after pleading guilty to a firearm conspiracy charge.

"Aye mane say mane that’s how you walk that lil t down," he wrote in the caption. "S/O to all the ones who counted me down and not out, the support and love i received on this roller-coaster is unmatched, S/O to all the good men i stomped the yard with like chris brown.”

In April 2022, the 25-year-old received a prison sentence of five years and three months in connection to an alleged armed robbery at a Florida hotel. The rapper was accused of shooting 28-year-old Brandon Cooper in October 2020, when he allegedly met up with the victim to purchase marijuana and sneakers.

In January 2022, Shiesty also pleaded guilty to a federal count of conspiring to possess firearms in furtherance of crimes of violence and drug trafficking in connection with a shooting and an assault both alleged to have taken place in 2020. Following his sentence, he will be on supervised release for a three-year period.

This isn’t the first time Shiesty has spoken out while incarcerated. In October 2023, he shared a message to his fans, saying he represented “the ones aint neva fold” and also calling out “rats.”
