She took to Twitter to share a statement, writing, “I'm so sad I won't be able to see you guys in concert this year, but I know this is the right decision. Please, please stay healthy and safe. I’ll see you on stage as soon as I can but right now what’s important is committing to this quarantine, for the sake of all of us.”
The official statement reads:
Tickets will be honored for its new show date, as the statement says. Ticketholders can also request a refund after May 1, in accordance with Ticketmaster terms.
Last month, Swift sent $3,000 to fans who were suffering financially due to the global health crisis. A number of Swifties claimed on social media that the singer had sent them $3,000 and a message of support. Recipients included a photographer and a cocktail server.
