Travis Scott's Circus Maximus Tour Sells Out in Asia
His Circus Maximus Tour first kicked off in 2023, subsequently grossing $209.3 million.
Travis Scott is on a world tour.
La Flame’s Circus Maximus Tour has been selling out in stadiums across the globe. According to a press release from Live Nation, in India, his Oct. 18 and Oct. 19 dates at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium sold out within 10 minutes, selling a total of 100,000 tickets, with over 600,000 fans waiting in line. Scott is now one of the biggest international hip-hop acts to sell out two stadium tours in the region.
His South Korea Oct. 25 date in Goyang’s Goyang Stadium sold out, with over 45,000 tickets purchased. His Nov. 1 tour date at Sanya, China’s Sanya Sports Stadium, had a similar outcome, with over 70,000 fans waiting in line to purchase tickets.
Scott is also performing on Oct. 11 at Johannesburg, South Africa’s FNB Stadium, and on Nov. 8 at Tokorozawa, Japan’s Belluna Dome.
In fact, Scott is making music for the stadium. In Complex's latest cover story with the Houston native, he shared that he's taking everything he's learned to make his music "enjoyable to go crazy in the stadium."
And that particularly applies to his new album.
"Even going into this new album, I really want to bring the ultra experience to the stadiums, to the highest level of energy," he told Complex's Eric Skelton. "I want to reach the person that's all the way up in the nosebleeds. I want them to feel like they're right next to me, and I want the music to feel like that, too."
The Circus Maximus Tour first kicked off in October 2023 with 76 sold-out shows in North America, Europe, UK, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand until 2024. It became the highest-grossing rap tour in history, amassing $209.3 million and 1.7 million tickets sold.
