Usher paid a special visit to his daughter Sovereign Bo’s school.

The Coming Home singer shared a video of his daughter’s Parent Teacher Day where he and his wife, Jenn Goicoechea, sat with their 4-year-old in front of the class as Goicoechea—an A&R executive at Epic Records—explains what she does.

“I help artists, entertainers, make music, put on shows, do videos, and do a whole bunch of stuff,” she says. “I came here to introduce daddy as an entertainer.”

It’s then Usher’s turn to speak.

“Sovë gets to call me daddy, but the rest of the world knows me as Usher,” he says. “Have any of you seen Wreck-It Ralph? You know a character by the name of Vanellope?” he asks.

“Vanellope also has another name. Does anybody know what that name is?”

When one kid chimes in and says, “I know my name,” everyone laughs.

“She has another name called Glitch. After seeing that movie, I made up a dance called The Glitch,” Usher continues. He then gets up and starts dancing to Chris Brown’s song, “New Flame,” which features him and Rick Ross.

Usher continues dancing and encourages the kids to join him. “Touch your head. Touch your cheeks. Touch your chest. Touch your legs,” he says.

Usher and Goicoechea share two kids, Sovereign Bo, and a 3-year-old son, Sire Castrello. The couple walked down the aisle this February, but have been together since at least 2019. Usher also has two other sons with his first wife, Tameka Foster, 17-year-old Usher "Cinco" Raymond V, and 16-year-old Naviyd Ely.
