Although Pusha T cut ties with Ye a few years ago, it seems the Donda artist is missing his old collaborator.

Ye took to X early Friday morning (May 30) to write, “I miss me and Pusha’s friendship.”

Ye’s message arrives on the same day Clipse marked their return to music with the new single, “Ace Trumpets,” produced by Pharrell. The track will appear on Clipse's upcoming album, Let God Sort Em Out.

Push, who was once G.O.O.D. Music’s president, alludes to Ye on the track, appearing to mock his YZY brand with a line about long shipping times. Pusha also seems to take a dig at Ye when mentioning “interviews,” possibly a nod to Ye recently commenting on Push and others.

"Look at them, him and him, still waitin' on Yeezy / I hope you got your squeegees / At your interviews, I just ki-ki,” Push raps.

Pusha parted ways with Ye and G.O.O.D. Music in late 2022. In a conversation with XXL, Push revealed that Ye’s antisemitic comments and right-wing affiliations didn’t sit right with him.

“It’s beyond that and it’s nothing to tap dance around. It’s wrong. Period,” he told XXL in December 2022. “But to me, it’s just me and him having a difference of opinion yet again. ’Cause we done had this for years.”

Push continued, “He’s not speaking to me now. If you ain’t with it, you ain’t down. And I ain’t with it. I’m not budging on that. I’m not with it. I heard about this new stuff [on InfoWars].

“I don’t know. It’s something that just sort of tells me he’s not well, at the same time. I will say that. It’s going to places where it’s no way to move around it.”

Let God Sort Em Out is slated to release on July 11 and is currently available in the Complex Shop.
