Selena's 'Dreaming Of You' Album - How to Buy on Vinyl

Now is the best time to revisit Selena’s Dreaming Of You album.

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Latin superstar’s 1995 posthumous album is available to buy at Complex in a variety of formats including: a new double-picture disc vinyl that replicates the iconic artwork of the original release, plus a CD and cassette with all new cover art.

All of the 30th anniversary variants for Dreaming Of You include newly remastered audio that breathes new life into Selena’s timeless English songs such as “I Could Fall In Love,” the Diane Warren-penned “I’m Getting Used To You,” and her “God’s Child (Baila Conmigo)” collaboration with David Byrne.

The album also includes fan favorite cuts such as “Captive Heart,” the 1995 remix of “Missing My Baby” featuring Full Force, and, of course, the album’s title track “Dreaming Of You.”

The album was intended to be Selena’s English-crossover album. Tragically, the 23-year-old was fatally shot on March 31, 1995, by Yolanda Saldívar, the singer's former fan club president, before she could complete it.

The remainder of the album includes remixes of Selena’s past hits, such as “Amor Prohibido” and “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom,” plus other then-unreleased Spanish-language tracks to create a “retrospective” of her career (“El Toro Relajo” and “Tú Solo Tú”).

Dreaming Of You debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart in August 1995, becoming the first predominantly Spanish-language album to ever debut at the top of the chart, per Billboard. With 331,000 copies sold in its first week, it was the biggest selling album by a female artist since Luminate (then known as Nielsen SoundScan) began tracking U.S. album sales in 1992, per the Los Angeles Times.
