The Geto Boys were featured on an episode of Unsung this week. Now available online, it focused on the evolution of the legendary Houston rap group under the guidance and tutelage of Rap-A-Lot Records founder J. Prince. The episode features interviews from Prince Johnny C, who was originally part of the Ghetto Boys before moving on, along with the group's four main members, Scarface, Willie D, Bushwick Bill, and DJ Ready Red.

Also included are accounts of the Geto Boys' legacy from T.I., Bun B, Gangsta Boo, and more. The show narrates the group's rise to the top of the charts and the personal pitfalls that each member had to overcome before and after their success. The lone omission to the show's narrative was J. Prince himself, who was not interviewed.
