Drake has made it a point to keep his two-year-old son Adonis out of the public eye, but every now and again he gives a glimpse of what's going on behind the scenes with his family.

Early Monday morning, the Toronto rapper shared multiple photos of Adonis alongside a lengthy message filled with positivity and hope. "What is most important for you right now is to connect to your own inner light."

It continues: "You have the biggest heart and that is your greatest gift. It’s impossible to always control your surroundings, but when you shift the focus to how you want to feel, everything will conspire to assist you."

Drake adds, "I love and miss my beautiful family and friends and I can’t wait for the joyful day when we are all able to reunite. Until then please keep your lights on."

One of the photos also includes the mother of his child, Sophie Brussaux.

Check out the photos and message below.

On Monday, Brussaux shared a number of pictures of her together with Drake and their song Adonis. "Thanking god everyday for blessing me with such a beautiful family and amazing friends," she wrote on Instagram. "I wish that much on everyone, keep safe and positive, sending a lot of positive vibes to the world." Additionally, the post featured an edited picture of Drake with bleach-blonde hair. "Adonis's parents are really blonde," she joked.

Drizzy discussed his son last year during his extensive interview with Rap Radar, in which he said he doubted Adonis was his child because of his appearance. "If you see my son you'll understand why," Drake said after he explained how he didn't want to tell the world about his son until he knew 100 percent he was his. "But if you see my boy you'll understand...at the time I was like, 'I don't know.'"

Drake's Instagram post comes about a week after he tested negative for coronavirus. "I had to do a test, but it came back negative," he told his father Dennis.

Now indoors for the foreseeable future, the rapper is using his time like the rest of us: hopping into the comments section on Instagram Live while being entertained by DJs and other artists playing music. During a recent DJ Spade session, Drake playfully interacted with Rihanna and traded shots with Funk Flex. Over the weekend, another DJ Spade set featured Rihanna exchanging words with Kevin Durant, with Drake also commenting.
