50 Cent has received an unlikely ally in the Meek Mill beef with popular '90s rock band Smash Mouth coming to the defense of the veteran rapper. The group chimed in on Twitter on why they're siding with Fifty.

"@50cent Dude you're an American Icon, why lower yourself to even comment on @MeekMill." They added, "Nothing against Meek, he's a solid EastCoast(PhillyEtc) Rapper but 50 is World Wide known Not even the same arena." Welp.
