50 Cent Responds to Eminem's Comments About Joint Album (UPDATE)
Eminem said he wants to get in the booth with 50 Cent.
UPDATED Dec. 27, 1:55 P.M. ET: 50 Cent has responded to Eminem's suggestion he and 50 Cent have to "stop bullshitting" and get in the studio to make a full-length collaborative record.
Fif, who hasn't released a studio album since Animal Ambition in 2014, has indicated that he's on board with the idea of a joint album with the Detroit legend. "Looks like I'll be back in the booth after all," he wrote alongside screenshots of headlines about Em's comments. "Just gotta do this residency in Vegas first."
On Friday, Dec. 27, 50 Cent kicked off his six-date Las Vegas residency at PH Live at Planest Hollywood Resort & Casino. The shows run until Jan. 4, so it sounds like he could be hopping in the studio with Em very soon if he's serious about the collab.

Eminem saw the success of Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre's joint album, Missionary, and wants the same for himself and 50 Cent.
On Christmas Day (Dec. 25), the Death of Slim Shady rapper was a guest on podcast Whoo's House, where around the 21-minute mark of the video below, DJ Whoo Kid asked about a potential collaborative album.
Calling the idea "great," Em added that he and Fifty have to "stop bullshitting and just do it."
"I would never say it’s not possible," the 22-time Grammy winner continued.
The update comes nearly a year after Em told DJ Whoo Kid that he was down to link up on an LP with Fif, who he previously collaborated with on songs like "You Don't Know" and "Crack a Bottle."
"Yo, I’m trying to get him to make another album so bad. We need another 50 album, like, really bad bro," Em said at the time. "50's on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour and I told him he needs a fucking—whatever he needs from me, I’m here. That shitt would be crazy though, an album with me and him."
Em and Fif appeared on "Gun Smoke" on Missionary, which Dr. Dre and Snoop discussed in their recent Complex cover story.
"That’s Dr. Dre's all-star team. All three of us love Dr. Dre's production and we all felt like we needed a record where we all got something together," said Snoop. "We loving each other, we appreciating each other, and it just made sense. Dr. Dre's at the top of his game right now and these are three of his all-stars, and it only made sense for me to come together on this record “Gun Smoke."
"It's a brotherhood," continued Dre. "We all show up for each other. None of us has ever said no to each other."
