Lil Uzi Vert Thinks BBLs Are ‘Lit’ and 'Get a Lot of Hate'
The rapper says that men who judge BBLs are ones who don't get "BBL girls."
Lil Uzi Vert endorses BBLs for women who choose to get them.
The rapper, who uses they/them pronouns, appeared on the latest episode of Pitchfork's "Over/Under," which released on Monday (Dec. 30). After giving their opinions on Pokemon character Ash Ketchum, Furries and Paramore lead singer Hayley Williams, Uzi called BBLs "underrated” around the six-minute mark.
"And the reason why I say underrated 'cause BBLs actually, like, get a lot of hate," they continued. "Only people that be hating on BBLs, like, especially in, I guess, the boy community is the ones that don't got no BBL girls."
The Eternal Atake 2 rapper is currently dating JT, who's publicly addressed getting the body enhancement procedure known as a Brazilian butt lift.
"So like, BBLs is lit. I mean, they cool," Uzi continued. "Like, if a woman wanted to make they self look better in their eyes, then I'm with it, so BBLs lit."
While in conversation with Complex's Jordan Rose in October, Uzi talked about their relationship with JT and said that sending a song to the City Girls member was how they first began dating. The rapper also said that they want to drop an official song with her.
"But yeah, I want to sit down and really work with her, and I want to really pick her brain because she's really good as an artist, and to me for real, it's pockets that she know how to do that I don't know how to do on some rapping shit, and she just does it naturally," Uzi said. "We talk about it, and we talk about this in the house, but I'm talking about actually make a whole project. We go to the studio together. It's my girl, but really lock in and I don't worry about myself and it's all about her in there."
