While denying reports that he was involved with a yacht that caught fire in Miami, Metro Boomin shared good news for fans of himself and Young Thug.

Just days after the aforementioned Miami incident, Metro alluded to the situation in his Instagram Stories, warning his followers not to "believe everything you see."

"Clout got the world in a chokehold," he continued.

The We Don't Trust You producer threw in surprise news that he's hard at work on Young Thug's next project, which could be the rapper's fourth solo album.

"Back to working on @thuggerthugger1 album," Metro concluded.

Around 3:30 a.m. on Sunday (Jan. 19), the yacht that Metro was renting reportedly burst into flames while docked behind the Booby Trap strip club. Employees of Booby Trap helped in evacuating ten guests, including Metro Boomin, and five crew members from the boat after someone noticed a smoke odor coming from the boat, according to Local News 10.

Bystanders were seen partying and holding interviews close to the site in the videos from the incident. Firefighters fought the massive fire following the evacuation until the yacht sank into the Miami River around 7 a.m. The cause of the fire is being investigated, while there were no reported injuries.

Thug, who was released from jail in November, dropped his third solo album, Business Is Business, in June 2023. In addition to Metro's announcement, Lil Baby has also claimed that he and Thug are planning a joint project.

"Everybody was at the studio. And now it's the same thing for Thug," Lil Baby told Complex. "I'm one of the ones happy to see him. Glad he came home. Everybody gave him gifts, everybody uplifting him, trying to put everything he went through behind him. So it was just great energy. It was like love again."
