Missy Elliott arrived to Coachella with a unique costume that only she could pull off.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee made a stylish return to Coachella on the evening of the festival's opening day on Friday (April 11). A 'car' was seen on an onstage platform, but it was revealed to be Missy wearing a Transformers-like outfit.

Missy also mixed old with new, performing past hits like "She's a Bitch" while updating "Get Ur Freak On" with Ice Spice's "Bikini Bottom." Elsewhere in the performance, Missy emerged in a trashbag costume similiar to what she wore in her iconic music video for "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)." Of course, she also performed the 1997 Timbaland-produced hit.

Projected onstage were massive 3D animations of Missy, which were previously shown during her Out of This World Tour last year.

While Missy will return for the second weekend of Coachella next Friday (April 18), more surprises are in store for the festival, including headliners Travis Scott and Post Malone, along with Charli XCX, Megan Thee Stallion, beabadoobee and more.
