Bruno Mars Weighs In On Nicki Minaj & Taylor Swift's VMA Snub Tweets

Bruno Mars jokingly wants in on what he's calling Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift's "twitter Beef," but that's definitely not the word for what went down earlier tonight. Earlier today Minaj posted a series of Tweets about being snubbed from the MTV Video Music Awards' "Video of the Year" category and made some astute observations about how her Blackness often precludes her from certain mainstream considerations. Swift felt slighted by some of the Tweets and quickly fired off her own directly at Minaj, weirdly and unfairly hinting that Nicki was pitting women against women with her critique.

Now, Bruno Mars is making light of the back-and-forth and jumped in with a joke suggesting the "VMAS is the new WWF!!" Mars also went on to send out a playful jab at Ed Sheeran to try and bring the joke home. (Unlike Minaj but alongside Mars, Sheeran is nominated in the "Video of the Year" category.)
