Miley Cyrus Launches #InstaPride on Instagram To Celebrate Transgender People

Miley Cyrus is quickly expanding her role as an activist into a light-bearing voice for youth. Last week, her headline-making spread in Paper magazine's "Use Your Voice" Summer Music Issue hit the internet spreading news of the singer's new non-profit organization Happy Hippie that benefits homeless and LGBT youth. "We can't keep noticing these kids too late," she told Paper.

Today the singer has teamed up with Instagram for #InstaPride, a hashtag that will "share stories of transgender and gender expansive people from around the country over the next 2 weeks," Miley explained on Facebook.
