Barack Obama Confirms He Listens to Everything on His Playlist, Even Charli XCX: 'She Knows What She's Doing'
The former President got word of the flack he receives for his annual playlists, which people think are fake.
Barack Obama released his 2024 Summer Playlist last month and the list was met with its fair share of skeptics who refuse to believe the former President actually listens to the music he mentions.
While playing a round of "Had It or Hit It?" with hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie "Pumps" Sullivan on the latest episode of the I've Had It podcast, Obama showed no hesitation when asked about his feelings towards Brat Summer, which Charli XCX recently declared as officially over.
In addition to being in support of Brat Summer, Obama said Brat is a "great album" and acknowledged "356" appeared on his summer playlist.
"People question sometimes whether I’m actually listening to all this music. As I've testified before, I am," Obama said, before admitting he receives input from his daughters and recommendations from his younger staff members.
"Charli XCX, she knows what she’s doing," Obama concluded.
Following her endorsement as the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, Kamala Harris' campaign adopted the neon green Brat aesthetic after the singer announced "kamala IS brat" on the platform formerly known as Twitter.
